Curriculum Vitae

12 years of education, 9 months of military service, then 7 years of Architecture & Design and 1 year for a Master Degree in Urbanism.

After jobs in different architecture studios already from the university years, in 1996 started working for a couple of local agencies, as illustrator and art director. Went full time on 15th of August 1997 and never stopped ever since.

From October 1998, art director for Leo Burnett Romania

On 20th of January 2000, started a 4 years run in D’Arcy Romania, from art director to finally full creative director in 2003, achieving any imaginable advertising experience, on creative management, art direction, graphic, packaging and brand design for some of the biggest brands in Romania. Also worked directly with clients in the Republic of Moldova (both telecom companies, for 2 years) and Italy (Azimut Yachts, for 2 years).
Since 5th of April 2004, creative director (still an art director, designer and copywriter) at Lowe & Partners Romania, proudly putting the agency on the creative map of the country and the region, while on personal level, it was a good time to further develop writing & strategy skills, also making a portfolio as a commercials director.

Left Lowe in November 2006 - working as creative partner at ACME Industries creative shop, the last Lowe project ending mid March 2007.

Since 14th of August 2007, Creative Director in BBDO Moscow, the biggest Russian agency.

Born on the 4th of November 1969, Bucharest, Romania. Huge fan of basketball - used to play, then coach a team of friends in the local official championship. Occasional drummer, plays with a group of talented colleagues in Moscow, every now and then.
One brother, Sorin Coliban, opera singer in The Popular and State Operas in Vienna, Austria
